Carved into the sides of a thin, winding canyon near its top, Nahla is primarily considered a resting place for those travelling between Nightclaw and Njoty. Permanent residents are rare, though the 'city' itself is almost always bustling with activity. Those that do live here are primarily researchers, but the most common encountered face in Nahla is that of the trader coming through from one of the coastal cities with fish. Despite this, Nahla has a respectable amount of inhabitants at about a thousand people.

Collected from Arsaga:
Carved into the sides of narrow canyons, Nahla City is a baffling construct. Bridges lead between the two sides of the city, and one enters the city through a half-tunnel leading behind a waterfall, an artificial construct. It's a mostly vertical city by it's design, so much of their collective times has been taken up by walking up and down stairways to find things. Finally, around mid-afternoon, they discovered the PokéCenter - keeping in mind that Nahla City is not actually very large, the oversight caused much frustration and blame being shoved to and fro, however playfully - and crashed there for a nap.
The gym can barely be called that - it's set into a side-canyon, a vast chasm in the rock only gently parting in its upper regions, subtly funnelling down from the sky. At its widest point, the chasm is maybe fifteen metres across, reaching into the shadows in depth for about sixty of the same, and tall beyond measure that matters, with a bizarre roof pulled taut above it, like a tent, the sheet framed by the sky, not directly touching the cliffs.
Set into the farthest recess of this chasm is the residence of the local gymleader - Terry Kiran. At least, that's what they were told. As it is right now, the dark, rich, earthy ground at the bottom of this chasm is empty but for the plants at its fringes where direct sunshine filters down from the sky during noon, patches of a brilliant, emerald green. A soft drizzle is the current weather, with dusk maybe an hour away, the afternoon sun bathing the world just outside the chasm - Nahla City - into a warm, almost golden glitter at the edges of its features.
