Ehqaj is mostly populated by people who wish to be left alone. It is an industrial city responsible for importing and exporting to and from Sehto, but outside the business of the harbour, people are happy to keep to themselves, and the streets are mostly empty. Ehqaj is often blessed with sunny weather, though there is little plant life to make it an enjoyable experience - Ehqaj comes across as a cross between Kethi and Njoty, architecturally and by design, though its population is better compared to latter, approximating to seven thousand inhabitants.
One of Ehqaj's hotels is called Rockdock Inn.

Tyranitar Trio
Causing ruckus and trouble in Ehqaj City is a boy playing both thief and extortionist with three Tyranitars, though he preys almost exclusively at the fringes of the city. The Tyranitars know Earthquake and Coagulation and attack in unison.
The boy is about fifteen years old. He has a sister of about eleven years of age, Brenna, who in turn has a Parasect with Spore, which she uses with delight to guard their hide-out in a cavern in Ehqaj's western shores.
Descriptions from Sessions
Collected from Arsaga:
Ehqaj City became visible over the top of a hill, glinting like a strangely beautiful scar in the landscape, industrial, practical, domineered by its port.
Ehqaj City. It bears quite the resemblance to Njoty, except that it lies on a slope all the way down to an artificial beach - its piers. Most houses seem to have roofs slanted one way only - Ehqaj's cape leaves the city exposed to winds from the ocean, and fragments of Sehto lie to the west, spotty islands south of the same, the bay of Vale and Roaring Hollow a beautiful, glittering sight, though regrettably unavailable on foot. This is certainly a city, though fractionally smaller than Njoty - but larger than Nahla. Despite the myriad of houses, it appears deserted in the afternoon light, as though its inhabitants feared the sun.
The rocks around the bay, shallow near Ehqaj and Vale, grow to frightful proportions at its north-nadir, where Roaring Hollow sits. They're far from that particular landmark, but the height of the rocks increases quickly as is, looming down at them like a dark cliff face, arced slightly as though it were a wave wanting to crash down on them.
The way to the gym is a fairly long one through the streets of Ehqaj, and unfortunately, Ehqaj's streets are at ninety degree angles to each other, making the road they're on slash across the landscape, all the way down to the shore. It's not a very exciting trek along the one road, toward the gym that's near the docks.
